Why choose between pasta and pizza when you can have both? Enter Chicken Alfredo Pizza — a glorious, cheesy mashup that says, “Yeah, I’m living my best life.” With a creamy Alfredo sauce base, tender chicken, and melty cheese piled on a crispy crust, it’s basically a hug in pizza form. Feeling fancy? Toss on some spinach or bacon. Feeling lazy? Don’t. Either way, it’s a flavor bomb that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance. Just be prepared for everyone at the table to declare you a pizza wizard.

This amount of ingredients will make 2 pizzas, halve them, or save the unused part for making an alfredo sauce for pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Dan-O's Italian-O Seasoning
  • Dan-O's Cheesoning® Seasoning
  • 1 or 2 prebaked 12-inch thin pizza crusts
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (homemade or storebought)
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • handful of cherry tomatoes, sliced thin
  • fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • handful of sliced mushrooms (optional)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F with rack in the middle.
  2. In a pan on medium heat, add 1 tbsp oil. Add the chicken breast and Sprinkle Generously® with Dan-O's Italian-O Seasoning on both sides. Cook with a lid on for about 5 minutes per side and the internal temperature is 165°F.
  3. Set it aside and let rest for about 5 minutes then cut into pieces.
  4. Place the crust on an ungreased baking sheet. Spoon half of the Alfredo sauce on the dough, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the sauce with Dan-O's Cheesoning®.
  5. Add half the chicken and tomato slices and sprinkle with basil. If you're using red onion and mushrooms, add them now also. Top with half the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Use any remaining sauce and toppings for a second pizza or turn it into a pasta sauce!
