Big Mac Tacos

It’s the return of the mac with these Big Mac tacos! This is a fun riff on a fast food classic, I mean who doesn’t love a big mac? You’re getting a lot of the classic flavors here with some signature Dan-O’s flair from the OG seasoning. The best part about Big Mac tacos is that you can make a lot of them at once, perfect for a quick family dinner. Plus you get to skip the drive thru! The real secret here is the signature Big Mac sauce, and ours is pretty Dan near close to the original. If you want a little heat, add a little Dan-O’s Spicy to the sauce to tingle your taste buds when you bite into one of these mouthwatering Big Mac tacos.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce
  • 12 Pickle slices
  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce
  • 12 Pickle slices

Sauce:

  • 1 handful of pickle chips
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 6 slices of American cheese
  • Paprika, to taste

Preparation Instructions

Sauce:

  1. Dice 6 pickles and add to a large bowl
  2. Then add mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire, paprika, and lemon juice
  3. Mix until smooth

Taco:

  1. In a large bowl mix together ground beef and Dan-O’s Original
  2. Form into ⅓ lb balls
  3. Place ball on tortilla and flatten with parchment paper and a plate
  4. Add tortillas to a hot griddle, meat side down and cook for 1 minute
  5. Flip tortillas and add 2 slices of American cheese
  6. After 1 minute remove from heat and add sauce, shredded lettuce, and pickle slices
  7. Enjoy!
