Ingredients
Shrimp
- 2-3 tbsp Dan-O’s Adobo Seasoning
- 1lb large tiger shrimp (8–10 jumbo shrimp), peeled & deveined
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Adobo Sauce
- 1 tsp Dan-O’s Adobo Seasoning
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2-3 bay leaves
Preparation Instructions
- Season the Shrimp: Pat shrimp dry. Sprinkle 1 tbsp Dan-O's Adobo seasoning over the shrimp. Flip and sprinkle another 1 tbsp Dan-O's Adobo.
- Sear the Shrimp: Heat a skillet to medium-high and add the cooking oil. Sear shrimp 1 minute per side until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Adobo Sauce: In the same pan, add the soy sauce, white vinegar, brown sugar, bay leaf, and Dan-O’s Adobo Seasoning. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.
- Add shrimp back into the sauce and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until shrimp are cooked through and coated in sauce.
- Serve the shrimp as-is and drizzle that sauce right on top. If you’d like, spoon over rice to catch all the juices. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
