Surimi Crab Legs

Surimi Crab Legs

Flavors Used:

Have you seen those viral imitation snow crab legs? They look just like the real thing, and I finally found some at Publix! We're cooking these surimi crab legs in rich, melted butter with Dan-O's Outlaw Korean Pop BBQ for a sweet, savory, garlicky flavor with a little kick of heat. Then we're adding Dan-O's SEA-Soning Seasoning for an extra boost of seafood flavor and giving them a beautiful golden sear. The secret is to keep it simple and avoid overcooking so they don't fall apart. Quick, buttery, and packed with Dan-Good flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Dan-O's Outlaw Korean Pop BBQ
  • ½ tbsp Dan-O's SEA-Soning Seasoning
  • 1 package imitation snow crab legs (surimi), thawed
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

Preparation Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  2. Season the Surimi Crab Legs: Carefully add the surimi crab legs to the melted butter. Sprinkle with Dan-O's Outlaw Korean Pop BBQ and gently toss to coat evenly.
  3. Cover and Cook: Cover the skillet and cook for approximately 3 minutes, allowing the crab legs to heat through. Avoid excessive stirring to prevent them from falling apart.
  4. Add the SEA-Soning: Remove the lid and sprinkle Dan-O's SEA-Soning Seasoning evenly over the crab legs. Gently turn to coat, then cover and continue cooking.
  5. Sear the Crab Legs: Increase the heat slightly and cook until the crab legs develop a light golden sear. Turn carefully as needed, being mindful not to overcook them.
  6. Serve: Transfer the surimi crab legs to a plate, and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
