Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Spicy BBQ
  • Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 1 pizza crust
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 1/2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ cup diced banana peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/3 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup pickle slices

Preparation Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 425°F. If you’ve got a pizza stone, toss it in there now and let it heat up for at least 30 minutes—get that crust nice and crispy.
  2. Now let’s build that sauce. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, mustard, mayo, and a tablespoon of Dan-O’s Outlaw Spicy BBQ.
  3. Next, grab a skillet and heat it over medium-high. Add a little oil, then toss in your ground beef. Hit it generously with Dan-O’s Original Seasoning and cook it up, breaking it apart as it browns. Once it’s mostly cooked, throw in your onions and let them soften up for a few minutes. No pink left? You’re good to go. Drain off that extra grease.
  4. Roll out your pizza dough and spread most of that burger sauce over the crust—leave about an inch around the edges for that perfect crust. Sprinkle down half your cheese, then pile on the seasoned beef and onions. Finish it off with the rest of the cheese.
  5. Now add the toppings: tomatoes, pickles, and toss on some banana peppers for that tangy kick. Want a little extra BBQ punch? Sprinkle on some S&T BBQ.
  6. Slide that beauty into the oven and bake for about 10–12 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Pull it out, drizzle the rest of that burger sauce right over the top, slice it up, and dig in. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
