Alright y’all, this ain’t just quiche… this is a flavor-packed, golden-baked, “That’s Dan-GOOD!” kind of quiche. We’re taking sweet caramelized onions, creamy eggs, melty cheese, and loading it up with Dan-O’s Dips French Onion for that bold, savory kick. It’s rich. It’s cozy. It’s brunch-ready and weeknight-approved.
Ingredients
- 1 packet Dan-O’s Dips French Onion
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2.5 cups thinly sliced yellow onions
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 9-inch deep-dish pie crust, pre-baked and cooled
Preparation Instructions
- Heat your oven to 350°F. Get your pastry shell ready - have it at room temperature and then bake for 10 mins.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Toss in the onions and 2 tbsp of Dan-O’s Dips French Onion seasoning. Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring often, until the onions are soft, sweet, and lightly caramelized. Let them cool, then chop.
- Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. Stir in the cream, cheese, and the remaining Dan-O’s Dips French Onion seasoning. Fold in your caramelized onions and chopped green onions.
- Pour the creamy mixture into the prepared pastry shell, spreading it evenly.
Slide it into the oven and bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve: Let it rest on a wire rack for 10 minutes before slicing. Then dig in and enjoy that French Onion goodness. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
