Do you love chocolate? Do you love pretzels? Well, you're gonna love these Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods! We're dipping crunchy pretzel rods into smooth, creamy milk chocolate, then coating them with two sweet flavors of Dan-O’s Delights. Cinn-O Crunch brings the warm sweetness of cinnamon, honey, and brown sugar, while Choc-O Crunch adds rich chocolate flavor with hints of honey and Madagascar vanilla. Both have little crunchy sugar pearls that make every bite even better! Flavors Used:

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch
  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Delights Choc-O Crunch
  • 20 pretzel rods
  • ½ cup heavy cream, plus 1 tbsp for white chocolate
  • 20 oz milk chocolate melting wafers
  • 4 oz white chocolate melting wafers

Let’s Make It!

  1. Melt the Milk Chocolate: In a tall stockpot over low heat, combine the milk chocolate and ½ cup heavy cream. Stir for about 5 minutes, or until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. Prepare the Coating Stations: Lay out two large sheets of wax paper. Sprinkle half of the Cinn-O Crunch onto one sheet and half of the Choc-O Crunch onto the other, reserving the remaining seasonings for topping.
  3. Dip the Pretzel Rods: Tilt the pot slightly to create a deeper pool of chocolate. Dip each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, leaving one end uncovered for holding. Gently drag the pretzel along the edge of the pot to remove excess chocolate.
  4. Coat with Cinn-O Crunch: Place 10 chocolate-covered pretzel rods onto the Cinn-O Crunch wax paper, working in batches of five. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with the remaining Cinn-O Crunch. Gently roll each rod from side to side to help the crunchy coating stick.
  5. Coat with Choc-O Crunch: If needed, briefly reheat the chocolate over low heat until smooth. Dip the remaining 10 pretzel rods and place them on the Choc-O Crunch wax paper. Sprinkle with the remaining Choc-O Crunch and gently roll to coat evenly.
  6. Add the White Chocolate Drizzle: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate with the remaining 1 tbsp heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Use a spatula to drizzle the white chocolate back and forth over both batches of pretzel rods.
  7. Let the Chocolate Set: Refrigerate the pretzel rods for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm enough to handle.
  8. Serve and Enjoy: Once the chocolate has set, carefully remove the pretzel rods from the wax paper and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
