Making a baked potato is easy, but making the perfect baked potato? That can be difficult, thankfully we have a blazingly easy way to ensure you get the perfect baked potato every time. Let’s start with saying no microwave will ever achieve the perfect baked potato, it absolutely needs to go in the oven. Baking the potato gives that skin a crisp brown texture, and the inside will be soft and fluffy. Dan-O’s Spicy and Crunchy gives a little tickle of heat, and some satisfying crunch with Dan-O-Myte flavor to the potato. This is just the recipe for the perfect baked potato, but you can easily make it your own by using it to make loaded baked potatoes, or broccoli and cheese baked potatoes, or whatever your heart desires potato wise.
Do you put oil on it?
Yes
Sound delicious I will have to try it.
Sounds great and I will definitely make it (:) James Griffin
I agree with Don, no foil, but what about butter or oil to make the stuff stick? I always use butter, naked potato, and now have to get some DanO seasoning to try because it sounds so yum. And sweet potato slow roasted in the oven? Heaven
Love your seasonings and your recipes keep them coming
Never waste foil on a spud bro. It’s a sack of water. Let the brother breath.
Fork it plenty and rub with Dan’os then place on a rack no need for a pan…Middle if oven no flippy flippy my friend…leave him to relax.
1 hour fir a sous the size of my fist. So..maybe a longer..you can fork it. You can rub in oil but I don’t..I like crisp and butter center. Save your foil for the brisket Dan. Oh and have a merry one. Also my cousin in SC sent me some “surprises” thus year in the post..candy I bet mostly but I mention you a lot because I love cooking and been a fan for nigh on 4 years bro. Old school haha. Take care Paul UK 🇬🇧 get selling here.
Skip the aluminum foil. I love crisp skin!
