These may be best as a side dish, but they’ll still be the star of the show when you may Dan’s TikTok famous parmesan crusted potatoes! This is one of our most requested recipes, and for good reason. Who doesn’t love buttery melt in your mouth potatoes with a cheesy crust that you can just pop in your mouth in savory bliss. They don’t take very long to make either, which makes them greats for weeknight dinners or as an addition to a potluck, or party spread.
Super easy. All you’ll need for this Dan-O-myte recipe is some quality unsalted butter, red or golden potatoes, garlic, and Dan-O’s Cheesoning! Dan-O’s Cheesoning is the latest flavor creation from Dan-O’s, and offers a taste of Italy with a touch of Southern rustication. We focused down on the signature Italian herbs and spices that you love from the OG Dan-O’s, and masterfully blended it with rich parmesan to make an unforgettable flavor experience.
To begin, you’ll need to cut your potatoes in half and the score them in a cross hatch style not cutting all the way through but enough when you press into the paste it’ll go between the cuts. Then you’re going to melt your butter, and mix it with enough Dan-O’s Cheesoning until it forms a paste. Feel free to add a little minced garlic to it if you’d like, but once you’ve got the paste you’ll want to spread it in the bottom of a baking dish. Next, taking your scored potatoes, and press them into the Cheesoning paste hatch side down. Then you’ll just bake at 425 fahrenheit for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
These would be good with just about Dan near anything but here are some of our favorites. Our flank steak with chimichurri is divine with these parmesan crusted potatoes. This milk marinade sous vide prime rib is juicy and tender. If red meat isn’t your speed, try them with our chipotle honey mustard drumsticks, or our chicken cordon bleu. If you’re vegetarian, why not whip up Dan’s stuffed spinach mushrooms. Finally, Chipotle Shakshuka pairs wonderfully with these parmesan crusted potatoes.
Fantastic stuff, Thank you!
I made an elaborate main course and threw these potatoes together as a side. The potatoes got rave reviews while my time-consuming main course got an honorable mention. Your videos are awesome! Keep them coming .

How much do we use?
It depends. You need enough to form a paste,so just slowly add to the melted butter until pasty.

The reel he has on Facebook says 1/2 cup. That seemed about right when I made them!
Great article.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the Parmesan Crusted Potatoes, and find a new favorite Dan-O’s with Cheesoning!
Hands down the best side dish we’ve ever had. One of my kids hates potatoes, and he ate just as much as I did. This will be a new common dish in our household.
The wife made them for dinner to go with shake and bake and me and her completely crushed the entire pan we made a 13×9 pan full
Made this recipe this evening and it’s a hit! Delicious!! And easy! Thank you!
I’m going to try this and add bacon. Doesn’t bacon make everything better?
I just received my 3 bottles 0f cheesoning. Your packaging isn’t the greatest. I opened the bag (smelled real good) spices al over the inside of the bag. one of the bottles inside seal wasn’t sealed. The caps were almost off the other two bottles. I would return it but with shipping cost it doesn’t male sense. I bought seasoning from other companies and they wrap each bottle with bubble wrap. Much more secure. Not sure if I will order again/
Hey Doreene,
I’m sorry to hear about that experience, that’s certainly not the image we like to have.
If you could reach out to us at hello@danosseasoning.com, we’d love to make things right by you.
I’ll drop them a line to keep an eye peeled for a message from you.
Thanks,
Phill

Hi there, I enjoy reading through your article.
I wanted to write a little comment to support you.
I received my 3 large bottles yesterday and my daughter got hers. We are going to make the parmesan crusted potatoes tonight 900 miles apart. I’m in Delaware and my daughter is in Florida. We will then compare notes. I’m making mine with salmon and she’s making chicken. I can’t wait til dinnertime.
I found that generally about 3/4 of a cup of seasoning makes a good paste. But, I am mixing 1/2 a cup of Cheesoning with 2 tablespoons of Dan O’s spicy (for a little extra kick) and add more grated Romano cheese until I’ve made 3/4 of a cup of the blend. Everyone loves the potatoes with the extra kick!
