2 tbsp Dan O’s Original
2 (4-ounce) beef patties
1/2 onion, sliced
1/4 cup lettuce, chopped
1/4 cup tomatoes, chopped
3 slices American cheese
1 hoagie roll
Preparation Instructions
Sear the Beef Patties: In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef patties for about 3 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
Sauté the Onions: In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and sauté until they are caramelized and golden brown.
Chop the cooked beef patties into smaller pieces and mix them in with the caramelized onions in the skillet. Sprinkle Generously® with Dan-O’s Original.
Toast the Hoagie Roll: In the same skillet, toast the hoagie roll until it is golden and crispy.
Melt the Cheese: Place the slices of American cheese on top of the beef and onion mixture in the skillet. Cover with a lid for a minute or until the cheese is melted.
