Low Fat Crunchy Asian Chicken

This vibrant and low-fat Asian-inspired dish brings together the sweetness of honey and bold flavors in a mouthwatering marinade. Pressed for time? No worries—you can skip the marinating and simply baste the chicken as it cooks. Finish it with a sprinkle of Dan-O’s Crunchy, fresh parsley, and green onion for an extra burst of flavor and a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Dan-O's Crunchy
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Aminos or low sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp chopped peeled ginger root
  • 1 medium garlic clove, minced
  • 2-3 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Shredded carrot
  • 1 cup Edamame - cook per instructions
  • 3 stalks green onion, chopped

Preparation Instructions

  1. In small bowl, mix together coconut aminos, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic & Dan-O's Crunchy
  2. Place chicken in bag and pour in 3/4 of the marinade, refrigerate at least 2 hours turning occasionally
  3. Place chicken in a heated saucepan and cook until done - internal temp 165°F
  4. Pour the remaining marinade, edamame and shredded carrot into pan and cook a few minutes to warm up
  5. Place chicken in bowl and pour heated marinade over and top with green onion, parsley and a sprinkle of Dan-O's Crunchy
