This ain’t your average Alfredo—this is Lemon Pepper Alfredo, Dan-O’s style! We’re talkin’ juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken, creamy, cheesy sauce, and a pop of citrusy zing that takes it over the top. Toss it all with fettuccini, peas, and mushrooms, and you’ve got a bold, flavor-packed dish that’s easy to whip up but tastes like you went all out. It’s zesty, it’s creamy, it’s Dan-O-Myte!

Ingredients

  • Dan-O’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 16 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 portobello mushroom caps, sliced thin
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½ of a 12 oz bag of frozen peas, cooked
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 5 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped

Preparation Instructions

  1. Cook your fettuccini and peas according to the package. Drain ‘em and set ‘em aside while we bring the flavor.
  2. Grab those chicken breasts and slice ‘em in half width-wise so you’ve got 4 thin cutlets. Now hit ‘em with a generous sprinkle of Dan-O’s Lemon Pepper.
  3. Heat up a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Toss in the chicken and sear it up for about 3–4 minutes per side until it’s golden, juicy, and hits that perfect 165°F. Pull it off, keep it warm, and set aside.
  4. In another pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and throw in your mushrooms. Cook ‘em down until they’re nice and soft, then set those aside too.
  5. Same pan —don’t clean it; add 2 more tablespoons of butter and melt it over medium heat. Toss in the garlic and let it get fragrant (about 1–2 minutes). Whisk in the flour and cook it until it’s golden.
  6. Now slowly drizzle in your milk and heavy cream, whisking the whole time so it stays smooth and creamy. Let that sauce bubble and thicken up, stirring here and there, then pull it off the heat and stir in that Parmesan until it melts right in. Add your peas and give it a mix.
  7. Time to plate it up! Lay down that fettuccini, pour that creamy sauce all over, then slice up your chicken and lay it right on top.
  8. Hit it with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, add those mushrooms, and finish it off with a sprinkle of Dan-O’s Lemon Pepper, some chopped parsley, crispy bacon, and extra Parmesan. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
