Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning
  • 5-pound rack of ribs, cut into 2-bone sections
  • 32 ounces unsalted beef stock
  • 5-7 cloves garlic
  • Your choice of barbecue sauce

Preparation Instructions

  1. Cut the 5-pound rack of ribs into 2-bone sections.
  2. Set Up the Instant Pot: Place the ribs in the Instant Pot, ensuring they are somewhat flattened
  3. Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Chipotle
  4. Pour in the 32 ounces of unsalted beef stock. and add the garlic cloves.
  5. Seal the Instant Pot lid and cook on high pressure for 60 minutes then release the pressure. Once done, perform a steam release immediately instead of a natural release.
  6. Gently take the ribs out of the pot, being cautious as they will be very tender and may fall apart.
  7. Place the ribs in a large container, plate, or bowl and put them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to cool down and firm up.
  8. After cooling, take the ribs out and brush them generously with your favorite barbecue sauce.
  9. Grill the Ribs: Preheat a propane grill to high temperature and grill the sauced ribs for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are nicely charred.
  10. Once grilled to perfection, serve the ribs hot and enjoy the delicious, smoky, and spicy flavors!
