Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Dan-O's Italian-O Seasoning
  • Dan-O's Cheesoning® Seasoning
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 lb. pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Slices of pepperoni
  • deli ham
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
  • fresh parsley optional
  • parmesan cheese optional
  • extra pizza sauce for dipping, optional

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out the dough on parchment paper with a sprinkle of flour. The dough should be at least 10 to 12 inches long by 8 inches wide. An oval shape works best for when you have to roll it.
  3. Melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder.
  4. Brush the melted butter/garlic on the dough after it has been rolled out. Then spread a layer of pizza sauce on the dough and Sprinkle Generously with Dan-O's Italian-O.
  5. Make layers of pepperoni, then cheese, then ham, then more cheese - covering the entire piece of dough.
  6. Roll the dough: Roll inward starting with the longest side closest to you. Make sure the end of the roll is on the underside and touches the parchment paper after you complete rolling.
  7. Tuck in the sides: kind of like tucking a sheet on the corner of your bed. Any ingredients that fall out get shoved into the side before you start tucking.
  8. Brush the top of the tool with the egg wash and any leftover melted butter. Sprinkle more Italian-O and Cheesoning on top.
  9. Slice at least 3 slits in the top to vent while cooking. Slits should be at least 1 to 2 inches in length
  10. Bake at 400°F until golden brown on top, about 20 minutes.
  11. Cut and serve with your favorite marinara or pizza dipping sauce, sprinkle with fresh parsley or parmesan.
