Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O's Cajun Seasoning
  • 2.5 lbs Tomahawk steaks
  • Cajun Injection Creole butter, 16 oz (for injection)
  • Mesquite wood (for grilling)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Injection: Assemble your injector and fill it with Creole butter.
  2. Inject the Steaks: Inject the Creole butter into the tomahawk steaks. Flip the steaks over and inject the other side. Use about half of the jar of butter.
  3. Season generously both sides of the steaks with Dan-O's Cajun. Allow the seasoning to penetrate while the steaks rest. Let the seasoned steaks marinate for about 45 minutes.
  4. Prepare your outdoor grill with mesquite wood for a smoky flavor.
  5. Cook the Tomahawk: Place the marinated tomahawk on the grill. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 120°F.
