Air Fryer Edamame

An easy healthy snack, air fryer edamame. I noticed how many folks are clueless about how to tackle edamame, unsure if they’re supposed to eat the shell or not. If you didn’t know, you don’t eat the shell. Just pop those little beans out and enjoy. But here’s the kicker—don’t forget to Dan-up the outer layer of the shell with your favorite Dan-O’s Seasoning! I went with Dan-O’s SEA-soning.

Ingredients

  • ¾ tbsp Dan-O’s SEA-soning
  • 16 oz Frozen bag edamame
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ¾ tbsp Sea Salt

Preparation Instructions

  1. Toss the edamame with the olive oil.
  2. Add ½ tbsp Dan-O’s SEA-soning and ½ tbsp sea salt.
  3. Add the edamame pods to the air fryer basket. They don't need to be in a single layer, but don't crowd them too much.
  4. Air fry the edamame at 400°F for 7 minutes.
  5. Open the air fryer and toss the edamame around to redistribute in the basket.
  6. Air fry again at 400°F for an additional 3 minutes.
  7. Dump the edamame into a clean bowl.
  8. Add the remaining Dan-O’s SEA-soning and sea salt.
