Parchment Paper Baked Wings

Parchment Paper Baked Wings

If you want smoky, flavor-packed chicken wings without firing up the smoker, this one’s for you! These wings get generously coated in Pappy Dan Sprinkles Smoky Barrel BBQ and baked right on parchment paper so all those juices and seasonings cook down and crust onto the wings. Made with real smoke from 15-year Pappy Van Winkle® bourbon barrels, Pappy Dan Sprinkles brings deep smoky BBQ flavor, subtle sweetness, and that charred-oak character straight to the oven. The result is crispy, crusted wings loaded with that Dan-Good smoky flavor.

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp Pappy Dan Sprinkles Smoky Barrel BBQ
  • 3 lbs chicken wings, separated into drums and flats

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet or pan with parchment paper.
  2. Season the Wings: Sprinkle the chicken wings generously with Pappy Dan Sprinkles Smoky Barrel BBQ. Toss until every wing is evenly coated with seasoning.
  3. Arrange the Wings: Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the parchment-lined pan, leaving a little space between each piece.
  4. Bake the Wings: Bake at 400°F for 35–40 minutes, allowing the juices and seasoning to cook onto the wings and create a flavorful crust.
  5. Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the wings and return them to the oven for about 5 additional minutes, or until finished cooking and nicely crusted on the outside.
  6. Serve: Serve the wings hot and enjoy that smoky Pappy Dan Sprinkles crust. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
