Flavors Used:

Ingredients

  • Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch
  • 2 large Gala apples

Let’s Make It!

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash your apples and remove the cores using an apple corer, pushing straight down through the stem end. Using a mandoline slicer, carefully slice the apples crosswise into rings about ⅛–¼ inch thick. No mandoline? No problem! A sharp knife works just fine. Just try to keep those slices nice and even so they bake at the same rate.
  3. Place the apple rings in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch. Gently toss with your hands until every slice is coated in that sweet, cinnamon goodness.
  4. Arrange the seasoned apple rings in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet, making sure they aren't touching. Give those apples a little breathing room so they dry out evenly!
  5. Bake for 60–90 minutes, flipping the rings halfway through. You'll know they're ready when the edges look slightly shriveled and dried, but the centers are still soft and tender.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the apple rings cool for about 10 minutes. They'll firm up a little as they cool, giving you that perfectly chewy texture.
  7. Serve your Cinnamon Apple Rings right away or store them in an airtight container for snacking later. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
