Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Dan-O's Chipotle Seasoning - Can use Dan-O's Tac-O™ for a less spicy version
- 1 or 2 baguettes
- Two 8-ounce packages cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 1/2 cups sharp cheddar, grated
- 1 cup cooked bacon or ham, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- Corn chips, for serving
Preparation Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut out the center of the top of the load of bread, scooping out the bread making a "bread boat."
- Place the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar, bacon or ham, green onions, tomatoes, and Dan-O's Chipotle.
- Spoon the mixture into the hollow center of the bread loaf.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbling, and serve warm with corn chips.

This recipe and the spices that go in it is one of our favorite. I’ve tried most of the recipes posted and from Facebook they are all fantastic. Makes me want to get me some, yum yum
Oh my! There used to be a restaurant in Ohio that made crab bread – similar sounding recipe with crab – was spicy and so yummy!
