You’ve got crispy shrimp seasoned up with Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O (Salt, Pepper, Garlic) Seasoning and a little Cajun kick, then laid over a creamy broccoli slaw and finished with sriracha. Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O (Salt, Pepper, Garlic) Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Dill Dip Mix
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Ranch Dip Mix
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp (unsalted) Kerrygold butter
  • 3 cups broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk
  • Sriracha, for topping

Preparation Instructions

  1. Season the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O Seasoning, Dan-O’s Cajun Seasoning, and cornstarch. Add the peeled shrimp and toss until each piece is evenly coated.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat a pan over high heat for about 1 minute. Add the cooking oil. Place the shrimp in the hot pan and cook for 1 minute. Flip the shrimp and add the butter. Cook for 1 more minute. Stand the shrimp up and cook for about 30 seconds more, until fully cooked and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Make the Broccoli Slaw: In a separate bowl, add the broccoli coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, and buttermilk. Add the Dan-O’s Dill Dip Mix and Dan-O’s Ranch Dip Mix. Stir until everything is evenly combined and creamy.
  4. Build the Appetizer: Spoon the broccoli slaw onto a serving dish or platter. Arrange the crispy shrimp on top.
