Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 12 ounces squid ink pasta
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation Instructions

  1. Cook the squid ink pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the pumpkin puree and stir in the heavy cream, Dan-O’s Original Seasoning, and cook over low heat until the sauce is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Toss the cooked squid ink pasta with the pumpkin sauce until well coated.
  5. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
