One Pot Chili Mac & Cheese

We’ve taken that creamy, cheesy goodness and teamed it up with a quick, pantry-friendly homemade chili, creating the ultimate cozy meal mashup. Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Tac-O or Spicy if you want a kick
  • ¼ tsp Dan-O’s Chipotle
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 yellow or white onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) white kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 box (16 oz) macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley - optional for garnish

Preparation Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium high heat, add olive oil, ground beef and onion, and cook until meat is browned, about 5 minutes. Crumble the beef as it cooks; drain excess fat out of pan.
  2. Stir in garlic and cook about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, tomatoes, beans, Dan-O’s, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, to taste. Mix well.
  4. Stir in your pasta. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked through, about 13-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese and cover until melted (around 2 minutes).
