This No-Boil Pasta Bake recipe is a one-pan Dan good dish that’s a lifesaver for those evenings when the last thing you want to do is spend hours in the kitchen. Skip the hassle of boiling pasta and enjoy a dish that’s packed with flavor and effortless to prepare. With minimal prep and a burst of flavor, it’s as simple as gathering your ingredients, mixing them in one pan, and letting the oven work its magic while you kick back and relax.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Jalapeño Cheesoning® Seasoning
  • 1 pound dried penne pasta
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 pound mild Italian sausage
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large 13 x 9 baking dish, add the dried penne pasta then pour in the crushed tomatoes, Dan-O’s Italian-O, Dan-O’s Original, heavy cream, and chicken stock. Break half of the sausage into bite- size chunks and fold them into the mixture. Stir well to combine. This will create a tomato-based mixture.
  3. Crumble the remaining half of the sausage and sprinkle it on top of the mixture in the baking dish. Gently press everything down.
  4. Press everything down gently to ensure it’s well combined.
  5. Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Jalapeño Cheesoning® over the top.
  6. Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
  7. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  8. After the initial baking time, remove the foil and add shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
