This Layered Taco Dip is everything I love about Dan-O’s Seasoning which is big flavor, simple steps, and real ingredients. You’ve got seasoned taco meat, a creamy Mexi Ranch layer, fresh veggies, and plenty of cheese stacked up in every bite. It’s perfect for any gathering, game day, or honestly just a Tuesday when you want something awesome. Grab your chips… and keep sprinklin’!

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch
  • 1–2 tbsp Dan-O’s Tac-O Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Dan-O’s Chili Lime Seasoning
  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained
  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1–2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1–2 jalapeños, diced
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend or cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips

Preparation Instructions

  1. Cook the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until fully browned.
  2. Drain the meat or blot off any extra grease with paper towels.
  3. Sprinkle Dan-O’s Tac-O, Chipotle, and Chili Lime over the meat and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Add the black beans and cook for 1–2 minutes, just until warmed through.
  5. Spread the seasoned meat and beans in the bottom of a 13×9-inch dish.
  6. In a bowl, mix the sour cream and Dan-O’s Dips Mexi Ranch until smooth and fully combined.
  7. Spoon and spread the sour cream mixture evenly over the meat and beans.
  8. Layer on the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, black olives, and shredded cheese.
  9. Serve with tortilla chips, and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
