What are coconut aminos?

Coconut Aminos is a soy-free seasoning that’s derived from organic coconut blossom nectar, apple cider vinegar, and sea salt. It’s a salty-sweet condiment with a buttery finish, and perfect for crunchy chicken breasts! Coconut aminos has about 73% less sodium than soy sauce, and perfect for soy and gluten free diets.


  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup salt
  • 1 tsp coconut aminos
  • Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning

Preparation Instructions

  1. Add water and salt to a pot mix until salt is dissolved.
  2. Add brine, coconut aminos, and chicken to a gallon freezer bag, refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Remove chicken from bag and coat one side with Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning.
  4. Preheat cast iron skillet to a medium heat, add vegetable oil.
  5. When hot add chicken season side down.
  6. Coat other side with Dan-O’s Crunchy and sear for 2 minutes both sides.
  7. Remove the skillet from the stove and add to a 300 F oven for about 25-35 minutes, or until 165° F internal temperature.
  8. Remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes.
  9. Slice, serve and enjoy!
