This Avocado Egg Salad Toast is egg-axctly the meal you’re looking for. Fluffy and creamy egg salad seasoned with Dan-O's Crunchy and Original pairs wonderfully with the avocado and toasted sourdough bread. Whether you’re whipping this up for breakfast or lunch, this is a quick and easy meal to whip up and keep you going strong.

Egg Salad Variations for your consideration

Egg Salad is good, but depending on how much you eat it can get tiring. You can spice it up with a few of these variations. For a Japanese Egg Salad, replace the standard mayo with Kewpie Japanese Mayonnaise for a richer, and creamier. If you wanna make a more Mediterranean egg salad, replace your mayo with hummus. Add some flair to your egg salad with some curry powder and Dan-O’s Spicy seasoning. You could also add some tuna, and relish to make a tuna egg salad too! No matter how you end up making your egg salad, this avocado egg salad toast is something you’ll be craving for a while.


  • 2 hard boiled eggs, yolks separated
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 slice sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning
  • Dan-O’s Original Seasoning

Preparation Instructions

  1. Hard boil two eggs and set in ice bath
  2. Remove shell and separate the white and yolk
  3. In a bowl add yolks and mayonnaise and fork until smooth
  4. Chop up the whites and add to the bowl of mayo and yolks, mix together
  5. Halve and slice an avocado
  6. Preheat a cast iron skillet to medium heat and add butter. Toast sourdough bread on both sides.
  7. Place avocado slices on sourdough bread and top with egg mixture
  8. Sprinkle with both Dan-O’s seasonings to taste. Serve and enjoy!
