My friends, if you love pickled eggs, you have to try marinating them in banana pepper brine! We’re making two flavor-packed batches: one with Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary and one with Dan-O’s Dips Ranch. The trick is letting those eggs marinate for a full seven days, not just 24 hours, so the tangy banana pepper flavor and bold Dan-O’s goodness soak all the way through. These are simple, savory, tangy, and absolutely Dan-Good!
Ingredients
2 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary
1 packet Dan-O’s Dips Ranch
18 large hard-boiled eggs, peeled
2 jars pickled banana peppers with brine
1 cup Bloody Mary mix, non-spicy
Preparation Instructions
Prepare the Eggs: Prepare 18 hard-boiled eggs using the Dan-O’s 10-5-10 method. Allow the eggs to cool completely, then peel them.
Make the Blackened Bloody Mary Eggs: Add 9 peeled hard-boiled eggs to one jar of pickled banana peppers. Pour out enough banana pepper brine (leaving about ¾ left of the jar) to create room for the Bloody Mary mix. Add the Bloody Mary mix and Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary. Secure the lid tightly and gently shake the jar until everything is thoroughly combined.
Make the Ranch Eggs: Pour out of the second jar of pickled banana peppers. Add the remaining 9 peeled hard-boiled eggs and the packet of Dan-O’s Dips Ranch. Secure the lid tightly and gently shake the jar until the ranch seasoning is distributed throughout the brine.
Marinate the Eggs: Refrigerate both sealed jars for 7 days. Gently shake the jars a few times during the marinating period to redistribute the seasonings and brine.
Serve: Serve the banana pepper pickled eggs chilled and enjoy both bold flavors. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
