Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O's Preem-O Seasoning
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Preparation Instructions

  1. Heat a Dutch oven or large skillet over medium-high heat and add the cooking oil.
  2. Add the beef and break it apart, then add onion and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  3. Add cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, Dan-O's Preem-O, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 30 minutes.
  4. That's it, serve it while it's hot!
