Now this is how you do a burger—Derby style! We’re stackin’ up juicy, perfectly seasoned beef, melty pepper jack, sweet mango, creamy avocado, and a little crunch from plantain chips. Then we hit it with that bold, zesty sauce to bring it all together. It’s big flavor, big energy, and one bite in… yeah, that’s Dan-O-Myte!

Ingredients

Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
Kentucky Cattlemen’s Ground Beef
Kroger Pepper Jack cheese
¼ cup Walkerswood Traditional Jamaican jerk seasoning, mild
¼ cup Duke’s Mayonnaise
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 mango, thinly sliced
1 avocado, sliced
Grace Green Plantain Chips
Kroger brand wheat bread hamburger buns

Preparation Instructions

Start by dividing your ground beef into equal patties. Season both sides with Dan-O’s Original.
Throw those patties on the skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook ‘em up until they hit 160°F. Nice char on the outside, juicy on the inside—that’s what we’re lookin’ for.
In the last minute of cookin’, top each patty with pepper jack cheese and let it melt down nice and smooth.
While that’s goin’, toast your whole wheat buns right on the grill—get ‘em warm with a little crisp.
Now mix up that sauce! In a small bowl, stir together Duke’s mayo and Jamaican jerk seasoning until it’s smooth and packed with flavor.
Time to build! Spread that jerk mayo on the bottom bun, then stack on your cheesy burger patty. Add thin-sliced red onion, fresh mango, creamy avocado, and a handful of crunchy plantain chips. Top it off with the bun and press it down just a little.
