They are perfect for your next gathering or game day.

Did you know that chicken wings were first introduced as a bar snack in Buffalo, New York, in 1964? The “drums” and “flats” refer to the two distinct parts of the wing, with drums resembling mini drumsticks and flats being the more traditional, flatter shape.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups Bloody Mary mix
  • ½ cup pickle juice

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Wings: Start by separating the chicken wings into "drums" and "flats". This will help them cook evenly and allow for easier handling when serving.
  2. Make the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Bloody Mary mix, and pickle juice. Whisk the marinade until well combined. Make sure all the spices and sauces are evenly distributed.
  3. Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings into a large Ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over the wings, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse.
  4. Cook the Chicken Wings: Preheat your smoker to 325°F. Place the marinated wings in the smoker. Cook for about 60-90 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through. Cook time might vary depending on how big your wings are.
  5. Once cooked, remove the wings from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®

  1. Will the results be the same if I make them in an oven, or broil them. Because not all of us own all the toys you have.

  2. I love Dan-O’s seasonings. I just received the Blackened Bloody Mary seasoning and can’t wait to. Use some. I’ll try it today!
