Flavors Used:

Need an easy appetizer that looks fancy but comes together crazy simple? This Dan-O’s Roasted Tomato Goat Cheese Dip brings creamy whipped goat cheese, juicy roasted tomatoes, and bold Dan-O’s flavor together in one seriously addictive bite. Perfect for parties, game day, holidays, or snackin’ straight from the dish with crusty bread, this warm baked dip is rich, savory, and straight-up Dan-O-Myte!

Ingredients

  • Dan-O’s Preem-O Seasoning
  • 8 ounces of goat cheese, crumbled or a block (let sit out for 10 minutes to soften)
  • 4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, room temp
  • 8oz grape or cherry tomatoes - about 1 ½ cups when sliced
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Chives, chopped for garnish
  • Small baking dish (this one used a 5” x 8” shallow dish)

For the bread:

  • Dan-O’s Cheesoning
  • French baguette, sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter

Preparation Instructions

  1. Grab a mixing bowl and toss in your cherry tomatoes with 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp Dan-O’s Preem-O. Give ’em a good mix till every tomato is coated in that flavor magic.
  2. Spread the tomatoes out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast at 375°F for about 20–25 minutes, or until they’re soft, blistered, and burstin’ with juicy goodness.
  3. While those tomatoes are doin’ their thing, melt your butter and stir in 1/2 tbsp Dan-O’s Cheesoning. Slice up that baguette, brush it with the buttery goodness, and toast the slices at 375°F for about 5 minutes till golden. Hit ’em with a little more Cheesoning butter while they’re warm.
  4. Now let’s whip it up! Add the goat cheese, cream cheese, 2 tbsp olive oil, and 1 tsp Dan-O’s Preem-O to a mixer and blend until smooth, fluffy, and creamy.
  5. Spread that whipped goat cheese mixture into a baking dish. Once the tomatoes are done roasting, spoon them right over the cheese. Finish with a quick drizzle of olive oil and pop the whole dish back in the oven for 5–10 minutes until the cheese is warm and bubbly.
  6. Pull it out, garnish with fresh parsley and chives, and serve it up with crostini, crackers, or even spread it on sandwiches. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
