Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Cheesoning®
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O's Spicy
  • 1 lb Argentinian red shrimp, peeled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for binding and cooking)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 bushel curly parsley, leaves only, finely chopped
  • ¾ stick butter
  • 1-2 tbsp additional olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 lemon

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: Take the peeled Argentinian red shrimp and place in a mixing bowl.
    In a mixing bowl, drizzle the shrimp with olive oil as a binder. Add the Dan-O’s Cheesoning® to the shrimp. Mix well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.
  2. Make the Garlic-Butter Sauce: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Sauté for a minute until fragrant. Add the Kerrygold butter to the pan, stirring until melted. Ensure the garlic does not burn. Pour the melted garlic butter over the finely chopped parsley in a bowl. Mix well to combine.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the coated shrimp. Allow them to cook for about 2 minutes on one side until they develop a nice crust. Flip the shrimp and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring they are cooked through but still tender.
  4. Put Some Dan-O’s On It® and Serve: Remove the cooked shrimp from the skillet and place them on a serving plate. Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Spicy and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, catching any seeds. Drizzle the garlic-parsley butter sauce over the shrimp before serving.
