Ingredients
- 3-4 tablespoons of Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning
- ½ cup Dan-O’s Spicy
- 2-3 pounds of chicken wings (about 24)
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- ½ cup of cornstarch
- 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 ½ sticks of butter, melted
- 1 heaping tablespoon of minced canned garlic
- ½ cup of shredded parmesan cheese
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation Instructions
Coat the Wings:
- In a large bowl or container with a lid, add Dan-O’s Spicy, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.
- Add the chicken wings to the mixture and toss until they are evenly coated.
Fry the Wings:
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over high heat to 375°F.
- Carefully place the coated wings in the hot oil.
- Fry the wings for about 12-15 minutes, until they reach desired crispness.
- While the wings are frying, start preparing the Buttery Parmesan Jalapeno Garlic Sauce.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Make the Buttery Parmesan Jalapeno Garlic Sauce:
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, shredded parmesan cheese, Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning, and minced garlic. Mix until well blended.
Toss the Crispy Wings:
- Place the fried wings in a large bowl.
- Pour the Buttery Parmesan Jalapeno Garlic Sauce over the wings.
- Toss the wings until they are evenly coated in the sauce.
