Jalapeno Cheesoning Crack Bread

This Dantastic® recipe combines the tanginess of sourdough with the rich flavors of Asiago cheese, fresh parsley, and a kick of jalapenos with Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning®. This bread is perfect for parties, game days, or pair it with your favorite soup or salad. This bread is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning®
  • 1 Sourdough loaf
  • 4 oz Asiago cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parsley, finely chopped (only the leaves)
  • 1 stick butter, melted (Kerrygold unsalted)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the sourdough loaf in half lengthwise.
  3. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning®. Mix well.
  4. Add the shredded Asiago cheese to the mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  6. Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning®.
  7. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve. Enjoy!
