Ingredients

  • 2–3 tablespoons Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped white onion
  • 10–12 fresh sage leaves, finely diced
  • 1 big scoop jarred minced garlic
  • 1 pound Dan-O’s Homemade Croutons or your preferred bag of stuffing croutons
  • 4 cups unsalted chicken stock
  • 2 eggs

Preparation Instructions

  1. Cook the Vegetables: Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add celery and onion. Cook 7–8 minutes on medium heat until softened.
  2. Season & Add Herbs: Add minced garlic. Sprinkle Generously with Dan-O’s Original Seasoning. Add chopped fresh sage. Cook until fragrant, then turn off heat.
  3. Build the Stuffing: Add the croutons to the skillet. Gently fold to coat them in the buttery herb mixture.
  4. Add Stock & Eggs: Pour in the chicken stock and fold gently. Add the beaten eggs and mix to combine.
  5. Bake: Spread stuffing into a 13×9-inch baking dish. Bake at 425°F for 20 minutes uncovered. Cover with foil and bake for 20 more minutes.
  6. Rest & Serve: Let the stuffing rest 10–20 minutes for the perfect texture. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
