Ingredients

  • Dan-O’s Seasoning - your choice of flavor, or try a few
  • 16 ounces low-fat 2% cottage cheese

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Shape the crackers: Use a tablespoon spoon to drop small mounds of the cottage cheese onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each mound slightly to form cookie shapes. Sprinkle Generously® with your favorite Dan-O’s Seasoning or try them all!
  3. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. They will become crunchier as they cool.
  5. Serve alone or with your favorite dip!

  1. I made these. I used whole milk cottage cheese. It’s drier. No oil. Tsp cottage cheese. Flatten a bit. Too with shredded cheese and any spice you like. Mine onion and garlic powder. Yummy. They don’t get real crispy. But cool them and there better and a bit chewy. I like them.

  2. I read the comments after I put them in the oven. I forgot to oil the parchment. Did it tell us to do this?? I also added shredded cheese on top and used everything bagel seasoning.
    Tip- I checked another recipe and it says that you should squeeze the excess moisture from the cottage cheese using cheesecloth.
    I’ll let you know how they turn out.

  3. I’ve used Dan’Os from Lowe’s but never tried cottage cheese crackers/chips whatever they are. Tried it but forgot to grease the parchment. I had liquid running out of the cottage cheese and never got the cottage cheese to crisp up. Maybe my oven temp wasn’t correct
