You won’t have to fret about dinner when you make Dan’s TikTok Famous baked feta pasta! This Baked Feta Cheese Rigatoni is a delightful and flavorful dish that combines the sweetness of roasted grape tomatoes with the creaminess of feta cheese. Enhanced by aromatic garlic and fresh basil, this dish is easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion. The unique blend of Dan-O’s Italian-O and original seasoning elevates the flavors, making it a must-try for pasta lovers. With a smooth or chunky sauce option, you can customize the texture to your liking.

You can use any pasta for baked feta pasta, but we like rigatoni. Penne, and oyster shell pasta would also work great here, but at the end of the day, you could use any pasta ya wanted. You could also add some pan-fried pancetta, or nduja for a little added protein. You could also just forgo the pasta, melt the cheeses and tomatoes together to make a Dan-O-Myte appetizer to serve with some crackers and veggies.

Ingredients

  •  2 tbsp Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning 
  • 1/2 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 2 (10-ounce) containers of grape tomatoes
  • 1 (11-ounce) block of feta cheese
  • 7 garlic cloves
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt (for the water)
  • 3-4 tablespoons high-end extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound rigatoni
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: Dan-O’s Cheesoning® for extra flavor

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Spread fresh basil leaves across the bottom of a baking dish. Add the garlic cloves, spreading them evenly.
  3. Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the dish.
  4. Halve the grape tomatoes (optional) and add them to the dish.
  5. Sprinkle Dan-O’s Italian-O and Dan-O's Original over everything in the dish.
  6.  Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  8. While the dish is baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  9. Once the baking time is complete, carefully blend the contents of the baking dish using a hand blender, achieving your desired sauce consistency.
  10. Gently fold the cooked rigatoni into the blended sauce, taking care not to break the noodles.
  11. Sprinkle 2 cups of mozzarella cheese on top.
  12. For added flavor, sprinkle with your favorite Dan-O’s Cheesoning®!
  13. Return the dish to the oven for an additional 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
  14. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious Baked Feta Cheese Rigatoni!

    1. Hmmm, you could try parmesan or mozzarella, or even goat cheese if you like it. If you go with a hard cheese, you’ll probably want to chop it up so it melts better!
