First, you are going to start off this chicken skin taco recipe by making Dan’s classic chicken thighs. All those take to make is 4 chicken thighs, some olive oil, and some Dan-O’s Original Seasoning.
This recipe is an interesting twist on Dan-O’s famous chicken thighs recipe with a little Latin flair. It seems like such a simple change from a typical taco, but this is well worth it. You have to give them a try!
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 2 lime halved
- Set out your chicken for roughly 30 mins and allow it to reach room temperature. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Now, rub on a bit of olive oil and season your chicken on both sides with Dan-O’s chicken seasoning.
- Cook your chicken skin-up for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Peel the skin off your chicken to use it as a shell. Sprinkle in some chicken from the chicken thighs, a little cilantro, chopped onion, and squeeze some lime juice on top.
