Chicken Skin Tacos made with chicken seasoning


First, you are going to start off this chicken skin taco recipe by making Dan’s classic chicken thighs. All those take to make is 4 chicken thighs, some olive oil, and some Dan-O’s Original Seasoning.

This recipe is an interesting twist on Dan-O’s famous chicken thighs recipe with a little Latin flair. It seems like such a simple change from a typical taco, but this is well worth it. You have to give them a try!

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • Cilantro
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 2 lime halved

Cook Time

1 Hour 30 Mins


  1. Set out your chicken for roughly 30 mins and allow it to reach room temperature. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Now, rub on a bit of olive oil and season your chicken on both sides with Dan-O’s chicken seasoning. 
  2. Cook your chicken skin-up for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  3. Peel the skin off your chicken to use it as a shell. Sprinkle in some chicken from the chicken thighs, a little cilantro, chopped onion, and squeeze some lime juice on top.
