Flavors Used:

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch
  • 1 pie crust
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can 15oz pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Let’s Make It!

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on your pie crust instructions.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin purée, vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch, and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  3. Place the pie on the middle rack of your oven and bake for approximately 75 minutes, or until the filling is set around the edges with a slight jiggle in the center. The middle of the pie should reach an internal temperature of about 180°F.
  4. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, transfer it to the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to finish setting.
  5. While the pie chills, make that delicious Cinn-O whipped cream! In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold heavy whipping cream, 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
  6. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip on medium-high speed for 3–4 minutes, or until medium peaks form. You want the whipped cream fluffy enough to hold its shape but still soft and smooth.
  7. Once the pumpkin pie is fully chilled, slice it up and top each piece with a generous dollop of homemade Cinn-O whipped cream and sprinkle some more Dan-O’s Delights Cinn-O Crunch over the top. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
