These Chicken Cheese Sticks are DAN-O-MYTE, my friends. This is the kind of recipe you make for a big game, a party, or any time you want cheesy, golden, pull-apart goodness without overcomplicating it. The chicken gets seasoned with Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O for that perfect salt, pepper, and garlic base, while the buttery garlic sauce brings richness and Dan-O’s Italian-O adds that herb-packed pizza flavor. Stack it all on fresh pizza dough with Romano, Asiago, and mozzarella, then bake it until the cheese is melted, the edges are crusty, and every bite is Dan-Good.

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O (Salt, Pepper, Garlic) Seasoning
  • ½ tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Butter Dust
  • ½ tbsp Dan-O’s Red Pepper Cheesoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Cheesoning
  • 1 fresh pizza dough ball
  • 1 chicken breast
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp oil, divided
  • 1 big scoop jarred garlic
  • 4 oz Romano cheese, grated
  • 4 oz Asiago cheese, grated
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese

Preparation Instructions

  1. Bake the Chicken: Season the chicken breast generously with Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O Seasoning. Bake until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Let the chicken rest, then slice into strips.
  2. Prep the Dough: Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for 3–4 hours. Gently stretch the dough little by little, starting in the center and working toward the edges. Continue stretching until the dough fits the pan. Be careful not to tear it.
  3. Season the Pan: Add 2 tbsp of the oil to the pan. Sprinkle Dan-O’s Outlaw Butter Dust and Dan-O’s Red Pepper Cheesoning over the oil to help build flavor and crust. Place the stretched dough into the pan.
  4. Make the Butter Garlic Sauce: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, remaining oil, jarred garlic, Dan-O’s Original Seasoning, and Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Assemble the Chicken Cheese Sticks: Brush the butter garlic sauce over the dough, including the edges and crust. Use almost all of the sauce. Layer the sliced chicken evenly over the sauced dough. Add a layer of Romano and Asiago cheese over the chicken. Cover with the mozzarella. Sprinkle Dan-O’s Cheesoning over the top. Finish with the remaining Romano and Asiago cheese.
  6. Bake: Bake at 425°F for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, golden, and crusted on top.
  7. Slice and Serve: Remove from the oven and slice into cheese-stick-style pieces. Serve hot. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
