Blackened Bloody Mary Ribeye

Blackened Bloody Mary Ribeye

Flavors Used:

This Blackened Bloody Mary Ribeye is a twist on the classic steak preparation, combining the bold flavors of a Bloody Mary with Dan-O’s Outlaw Bloody Mary and a perfectly cooked ribeye. Did you know that the Bloody Mary is said to have been created in the 1920s by a bartender named Fernand Petiot? This cocktail’s savory notes make it a perfect marinade for steak.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O's Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary
  • 1 ribeye steak
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cup Bloody Mary mix
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup pickle juice
  • 1 tbsp of spicy mustard

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Using a fork, poke holes all over the ribeye steak to allow the marinade to penetrate.
  2. Make the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, Bloody Mary mix, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, pickle juice, spicy mustard, and Dan-O's Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary. Mix well until combined.
  3. Marinate the Steak: Submerge the ribeye steak in the marinade, ensuring it’s completely covered. Let the steak marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated ribeye steak on the grill and cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve. Yum yum get ya sum!®
