Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 fresh corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1-2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup pickled onions
  • 1/2 cup Mexican crumbly cheese (fresco)
  • 1/2 cup crema (Mexican sour cream)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: Slice each large shrimp in half lengthwise and then into thirds to create smaller pieces. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary and olive oil until evenly coated.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare the Tortillas: In a separate skillet, heat the corn tortillas for about 60 seconds on each side until warm.
  4. Build the Tacos: Place a warm tortilla on a plate. Add a portion of the cooked shrimp, followed by a handful of shredded cabbage, fresh cilantro, jalapeño slices, diced avocado, pickled onions, and a sprinkle of queso fresco. Drizzle with crema and serve with lime wedges on the side.
  5. Serve your Shrimp Tacos immediately while warm. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for an extra yum yum get ya sum!®
