Smoked Mango Chipotle Cream Cheese

Smoked Mango Chipotle Cream Cheese

Flavors Used:

Director Drew came up with this creamy, spreadable Smoked Mango Chipotle Cream cheese that is so Dan-good that you can’t help but want some more. This is the perfect dish for a party or potluck where everyone can get them some, or even as an appetizer for a dinner party. No matter the occasion, this is sure to be a hit.

Everything is gonna brie alright

If you’re a fan of cheese, then your first thought when you read this recipe was probably that it sounded an awful like smoked/baked Brie. Brie is typically served warmed with a variety of toppings. Usually, honey, nuts, and fruit as they pair well with the buttery, slightly fruity, and sometimes earthy taste of Brie. Meanwhile, Cream cheese offers a more mild, slightly sweet taste with a sort of twang towards the end making it ideal for both more savory herbs but also fruits.

It’s Gouda to be good

This recipe is a perfect melody of flavor. The Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning pairs really nicely with the cream cheese blending its smokey, sweet and spicy flavors with the mild twangy, slightly sweet flavors of the cream cheese. Adding in the Peruvian peppers for a more tropical heat flavor that’s going to blend nicely with the Mango Chutney to really make an complex whirlwind of flavors. If you’re a fan of wine and cheese, you can’t go wrong with a low-tannin red like a pinot noir with this dish. You could also try a dry German reisling or dry Rosé. No matter what your pairings are, this is a treat that can’t be beat.
