Ingredients

  • Dan-O’s Ranch Cheesoning
  • 1 boneless pork chop (or small boneless pork loin section)
  • Olive oil (for frying)
  • Plastic wrap (for pounding)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Slice the Pork: Cut your pork into 1-inch portions to create small slider-size cuts.
  2. Flatten the Pieces: Lay the pieces out evenly, cover them with plastic wrap, and use a meat mallet (or heavy pan) to pound them flat. Each piece should be thin and even.
  3. Season Generously: Sprinkle Dan-O’s Ranch Cheesoning all over one side. Flip each piece and season the other side as well for a full, flavorful coating.
  4. Soak Up the Extras: If there’s any leftover seasoning on your cutting board or plate, press the pork pieces into it so nothing goes to waste.
  5. Preheat the Pan: Place a large skillet over medium heat and let it warm up. Once it’s hot and just starting to smoke, add a generous drizzle of olive oil.
  6. Fry the Pork: Add the seasoned pork pieces to the pan. You should hear a good sizzle. Cook on medium for about 1½ minutes per side, until golden brown with a nice crust.
  7. Flip and Finish: Flip, then reduce to medium-low heat. Continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes, flipping once more if needed.
