Fries + nachos = straight-up genius. These French Fry Nachos take crispy, golden fries and pile on bold, zesty flavors with Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch, Chili Lime, Tac-O, and melty queso. Creamy, spicy, cheesy, and totally snackable—this is the kind of dish that disappears before you even Instagram it. Game day, movie night, or “I deserve this” night—this one’s for you.

For the queso, use your favorite or follow one of these Dan-O’s recipes!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Tac-O Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Dan-O’s Chili Lime Seasoning
  • 1 packet Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch
  • 1 bag frozen fries - regular, crinkle, or waffle, your choice!
  • 1 lb Ground meat
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups queso
  • Optional toppings: diced green onions, black olives, salsa, cilantro

Preparation Instructions

  1. Mix together 1 cup sour cream, ½ cup milk, 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch, and 1 tsp Dan-O’s Chili Lime Seasoning. Chill in the fridge until ready to drizzle.
  2. Cook your meat with the Dan-O’s Tac-O seasoning and 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch until fully cooked and flavorful.
  3. Cook your fries until crispy and golden—your preferred style works (oven, fryer, or air fryer).
  4. Plate the fries, top with the seasoned meat, and drizzle with queso and the chilled sour cream mixture.
  5. Add any extra toppings you love—jalapeños, tomatoes, onions, olives, or extra cheese—go wild.
