Ready for some Dan Good cabbage? Cabbage, bacon, butter, and Dan-O’s Seasoning, it’s as simple as that! We know that bacon is one of those epic, delicious guilty pleasures… and is great on just about anything. So we’re wrapping cabbages in bacon, and throwing them on the grill for some mouthwatering porky, salty, cabbagey goodness. This bacon wrapped cabbage recipe is perfect for a big, epic cookout and can be served up with any protein.
To get started, you’ll want to tear off a few sheets of foil to wrap your cabbage in. Make sure your grill is preheated ay medium to high heat (around 350-375 degrees). Chop your cabbages into big chunks (about 6 per head) and get ready to wrap! So it goes bacon down, Dan-O’s down, cabbage down, and then a few pats of butter. Wrap the bacon over, and then add some more Dan-O’s Seasoning. From there, you'll want to wrap the whole thing in foil and getting it ready for the grill.
Make sure while your cabbage wraps are on the grill, that you turn and flip them frequently so that they do not burn on one side. Also, keep an eye out for flare ups, because bacon grease likes to do that! In about 30-45 minutes, you are ready to pull these bad boys off. You should have tender cabbage, crispy bacon, and a wonderful herb profile from the Dan-O’s. It’s about to be Dan-O-Myte in your mouth!
Once these cool down, these bites can be enjoyed as is or with a dab of mustard if you’re feeling crazy! And don’t forget to share! The Dan-O’s Bacon Wrapped Cabbage Recipe is sure to impress, and everybody's going to want some.
