Chili Lime Wings

Chili Lime Wings

Flavors Used:

There are countless ways to prepare chicken wings, but this Chili Lime Wings recipe is exceptional. One of my favorite techniques is to bake the wings on a drying rack. This method elevates the wings, preventing them from sticking to the bottom of the baking dish and allowing for even cooking. The result is perfectly crispy and flavorful Chili Lime Wings that will impress everyone with a Chili Kick and a Lime Punch!

Serve this with some Chili Lime Fried Corn and check out more wings recipes with Dan-O’s!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Chili Lime Seasoning
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 12.5 oz Jarritos soda (whatever flavor you prefer)
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil

Preparation Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, Jarritos soda, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and let marinate for 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F. After marinating, remove the chicken wings from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Coat the Wings: Drizzle the olive oil or avocado oil over the chicken wings. Rub the oil around to ensure all wings are coated. Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Chili Lime to taste and mix well.
  4. Bake the Wings: Place a drying rack on top of a baking pan. This will elevate the wings and allow for even cooking. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on the drying rack. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and cooked through. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the wings.
  5. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
