This grilled corn is the kind of cookout side that makes everybody stop and pay attention. First, the corn gets wrapped up with a little oil and Dan-O’s Outlaw Butter Dust, then it gets finished with a rich, cheesy ranch butter made with Dan-O’s Ranch Cheesoning. The hot grill gives it that little char, the butter melts down between every kernel, and that ranch parmesan flavor makes every bite Dan-Good.

Ingredients

4 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Butter Dust
About ½ bottle Dan-O’s Ranch Cheesoning
8 ears of corn on the cob
1 tbsp olive oil
1 stick unsalted butter

Preparation Instructions

Prep the Corn: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, about 450°F. Lay out 8 sheets of foil and place 1 ear of corn on each sheet. Drizzle each ear with oil, sprinkle with Dan-O’s Outlaw Butter Dust, then turn the corn to coat. Wrap each ear tightly in foil.
Grill the Corn: Place the wrapped corn on the grill and cook for about 20 minutes, rotating every 5 minutes or so, until the corn is cooked through. Keep the grill around 450°F to 500°F while cooking.
Make the Ranch Cheesoning Butter: While the corn cooks, melt the butter in a small pot. Stir in Dan-O’s Ranch Cheesoning until the mixture becomes thick and paste-like. Let it sit for about 10 minutes so it thickens slightly and coats the corn more easily.
Coat the Corn: Remove the corn from the grill and carefully unwrap each ear. Brush or spoon the Ranch Cheesoning butter mixture over the corn, rotating each ear so all sides are well coated.
Char the Corn: Turn the grill up to high heat, about 600°F. Place the coated corn back on the grill and cook hot and fast, turning as needed, until the corn has a light char and the parmesan in the seasoning starts to crust onto the corn. Watch closely so it does not burn.
