Flavors Used:

If you love sweet and savory Korean-inspired BBQ flavor, you’re going to love this Korean Gochujang Glazed Salmon! We’re mixing gochujang, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and garlic with Dan-O’s Outlaw Korean Pop BBQ to make a thick, bold glaze packed with garlicky, umami-rich flavor. Then we hit the top with Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning for one more layer of texture and flavor. It comes out sticky, savory, packed with flavor, and absolutely Dan-Good!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Korean Pop BBQ
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 3 lb salmon fillet

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Make the Gochujang Glaze: Add the chopped garlic, gochujang, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and Dan-O’s Outlaw Korean Pop BBQ to a bowl. Mix until well combined and a thick, spreadable glaze forms.
  3. Glaze the Salmon: Place the salmon on a large rimmed baking sheet or in an oven-safe baking dish. Spread the gochujang glaze evenly over the top of the salmon, coating the surface with a thick layer.
  4. Add the Crunch: Sprinkle the Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning evenly over the glazed salmon.
  5. Bake the Salmon: Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  6. Rest the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for about 1 minute before slicing.
  7. Serve: Slice the Korean Gochujang Glazed Salmon into portions, and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
