Ingredients
- 1 packet Dan-O’s Tac-O Seasoning Packet - Mild
- 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch
- 1/2 packet Dan-O’s Dips Ranch
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup Cotija cheese
- 1 cup pico de gallo
- 6 lime wedges
- 12 hard taco shells
- ½ cup Mexican crema
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
Preparation Instructions
- Start by making the creamy topping. In a small bowl, mix the Mexican crema with 1 tablespoon Dan-O's Dips Mexi-Ranch and the juice of ½ a lime. Stir until smooth, then pop it in the fridge while you prepare the tacos so the flavors can come together.
- Heat a drizzle of cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for about 5 minutes, or until softened and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed, then stir in the packet of Dan-O’s Tac-O Seasoning Packet - Mild and mix until the beef is evenly coated.
- Pour ½ packet of Dan-O's Dips Ranch into a large zip-top bag. Add the taco shells, seal the bag, and gently shake until the shells are evenly coated with that ranchy goodness.
- Fill each seasoned taco shell with the taco meat, then top with fresh pico de gallo, a sprinkle of cotija cheese, a squeeze of lime, and a generous drizzle of the chilled Mexi-Ranch crema.
